With Lilith and Inarius’ feud taking the lives of many innocent people in Sanctuary, it’s up to you to end it once and for all.
If your character still seems relatively weak for their current level, plus the ‘open-world’ concept of the game making it quite overwhelming for you to understand what you actually need to do to progress outside of the main storyline, here are some useful tips for you to keep in mind.
DIABLO 4 TIPS
Destroy EVERYTHING that you see (boxes, jars, crates, etc.)
o All over Sanctuary, you’ll come across various destroyable props during your travels.
o You might find it annoying to go out of your way to break them one by one, but without knowing it, you’ll end up accumulating tons of gold, items, and Potion refills; all of which are extremely invaluable.
Take part in World Events whenever they pop up
o While you’re adventuring to a specific region to complete an important quest, you can sometimes find yourself caught up with random World Events.
o Although it might be tiresome to participate in them, those few minutes of your time can yield precious loot for your character once you successfully complete the events, with chances of scoring Rare or Legendary gear as well!
Make time to unlock Waypoints
o Exploring Sanctuary in its entirety is all good and all, but doing so without any sense of direction early in the game can be a chore, slowing down your overall in-game progress (many of the game’s best content is locked behind the story’s completion).
o So, every time you find yourself in new surroundings, make sure to seek a nearby Waypoint first.
o This way, you can easily fast travel to it whenever you’re far away from a nearby town, saving you the time and effort to back-track your way home.
Seek out high-value enemies first during combat
o Truthfully, Diablo 4’s combat isn’t as fast-paced as many beginners say it is.
o Throughout all the action and particle effects, you have the time to oversee the entire screen to pick out the most dangerous enemies nearby.
o Prioritise your attacks on these ‘special’ ones first, because many of them will only summon more enemies into the mix if not stopped beforehand, regardless of how many mobs you’ve cleared.
o An exception could be made for huge Bosses, though, because these usually require you to beat their minions first before being able to be harmed afterwards.
Chase down Treasure Goblins
o On occasion, you can encounter the returning Treasure Goblins from Diablo 3 and Diablo Immortal.
o These dubious creatures will not harm you at all, but will flee as soon as they see you.
o They themselves aren’t worth anything, but the items and gold that they hoard on their backs are, meaning it’s a free chance for you to roll for exceptionally powerful gear if you’re still at a low level.
